Recent Fundraising events

Hi this is Helena, one of the members of the WOHAA fly high team.
This week we've been doing some fundraising.
On Monday we had a cake sale on the year 7 parents evening, and managed to earn a fair amount for Wings of Hope. We sold all the cakes we bought, and all in all, it was a success.
We also had another cake sale on Wednesday, where we sold cakes to people at our school's Spring concert. In doing so, we managed to earn more money by selling cakes.
Another thing our group has been doing is selling cards. The idea is, that we sell people a little piece of card, and they go away and draw something on the card - this can be something to do with wings of Hope, or anything that they feel represents them, for example, their likes and hobbies. We will put the cards together, and create a collage. Also, the person who draws the best design on the card wins a 15 pound itunes voucher.
Sara is busy with our snapshots project, which we will have to give in to Wings of Hope by the end of this week.
